When I visit a place and talk to the people who have a project, I can almost walk into the task and the new narrative of the place – it’s magical and a gift, and how privileged I am that this is my working life.
The fact that it sometimes takes blood, sweat and tears to get there afterwards, I see as part of the creative process. It may very well be that the tasks that have caused the most anguish produce the best results.
